The Mikko is the classic duffel done properly: one big main compartment behind a waterproof zipper, a padded laptop sleeve (fits a 16″ MacBook Pro), inside pockets for the small stuff and a carabiner for your keys — so they stop hiding at the bottom of the bag.
Its cleverest trick is the shoe compartment. Dirty shoes go in the bottom section, separate from your clothes — and when you don’t need it, unzip it from the inside and it disappears completely. No dead space, no bulk.
An outside pocket with a magnet gives you one-hand access to phone and passport; the trolley sleeve slides it onto your suitcase, and the detachable shoulder strap carries it the rest of the way. At 26 litres it’s built for hand luggage and 1–2 nights away.
The waxed fabric is woven from recycled PET bottles and develops a patina over time; the details are vegetable-tanned leather. One customer summed up where that leads: after ten years with his Mikko he bought a second one for his partner — “best piece of luggage I ever owned.”
